​Math Courses
Ms. Harbaugh began her teaching career in Washington DC where she managed high school students and their environmental programs throughout the country. Next she taught outdoor education in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Ms. Harbaugh also worked with adolescent boys with extreme psychiatric, emotional and behavior disorders.
Ms. Harbaugh came to the Big Island in 2006 and began teaching at Pahoa High & Intermediate School in 2007. She has a bachelor's degree in environmental studies and earned a masters in secondary education. She is currently a National Board of Education applicant.
Ms. Harbaugh enjoys dancing, snorkeling, and traveling. Stop by U-104 and ask about samba, salsa, or talk story about your favorite destination!

Ms. Harbaugh is available to students every school day between 7:30 and 7:55 am as well as during lunch.
The school offers free math tutoring every day before classes begin, during lunch recess, and after school in room S-202 and at the Learning Lab.
